638-20 was purchased from Tayles deer in 2024. We thought he had great potential, with especially round tops, along with a very good velvet weight.​

We have used him for our 2024 and 2025 breeding programs, and are very pleased with his progression and temperament on farm, cutting very good velvet weights with good style.

His sire, Totara, cut 9kg @ 3yr and won the National 3yr and 5yr velvet competition, 2nd in the 4yr velvet competition and a third and a second place for his 6 and 7 year heads, pretty phenomenal.
