17-17 was sold in Altrive’s 2021 sire stag sale. He had very tidy velvet with a beam of 22 and 21 and above trez 20 and 22.  His dam, 63-14 only had this son and a daughter we sold for $5800 in 2018. He was purchased by Lindsay Tayles.

His progeny include a 9.4kg son, and 2yr olds cutting 5.8, 5.2, 5.2, 5.0kg.

We had him back on farm for our 2025 mating from Lindsay Tayles, as were very impressed with his consistently tidy heads, with very round tops and great beam, very much an industry desirable sire! He has bred well for Lindsay. He cut a very tidy 9.55kg while here after mating in 2025, see a picture below.

 

17-17 sire 188-12 was a national champion for his 3 and 4 year heads, then third for his 5yr head. We have sold other sons, 166-19 8.75kg @ 3yrs for $21000 and 186-19 sold for $25000 in the 2023 sire stag sale. 166-19 went on to win the 5yr nationals for Cam and Wally Nelson.
